Job Summary:
The Tool Crib Operator will assemble manufactured products and pack them according to specifications.

- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Computer skills with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Shipping and Receiving.
- Detail-oriented and consistent.
- Works well as a productive team member.
- Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Basic ability in mathematics, reading, and writing.
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Assembles components, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, and more according to directions.
- Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
- Uses various powered and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production and product inconsistencies.
- Maintains equipment and performs basic repairs when needed.
- Checks products to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts the manager.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed. May also assist in physical inventory.
